The Strand is an Arizona-based industrial group formed in 1999 by Dave Strand. Their sound spans industrial, EBM, electro-industrial, and aggrotech. The band has released four full-length albums, played major festivals including Convergence 11 and the Dark Arts Festival, and their music has been featured in film and television. Current lineup: Dave Strand, Jessica Savage, Seth Ludeman, Ben Thompson, Scott Levy, Steve Laskarides, and Bob-E.

The Strand is an Arizona based industrial group. Dave Strand formed the band in 1999, though his roots in industrial music stretch back to 1992 on an Amiga computer in Vernon Hills, Illinois. The band's style spans industrial, EBM, electro-industrial, and aggrotech. They have released four full-length albums: 'In the Trench' (2000), 'Diatom' (2004), 'Destroyers of that which is destroyed and rulers of that which is not destroyed' (2008), and 'Combat Advantage' (2012). The Strand has played the main stage at Convergence 11 and the Dark Arts Festival, supported touring acts including VNV Nation, Covenant, Assemblage 23, and Imperative Reaction, and their tracks have been featured in SORP Films productions and the movie Synthetic Truth. Current members: Dave Strand (vocals), Jessica Savage (vocals), Seth Ludeman (guitars), Ben Thompson (keyboards), Scott Levy (keyboards), Steve Laskarides (keyboards), and Bob-E (drums).
